What to do when in loneliness,
When none stands by your side,
And the world seems to have,
Forgotten of your existence.
To whom do you turn,
When you’re a stranger to your own,
When you call and cry out,
And no response comes your way.
Tears after tears,
No hand to dry them up,
Darkness after darkness,
No candle to light your way,
And no smile to brighten your day.
A big world home for all,
Yet no place to call your home,
A bright glowing world,
Yet a heart in total darkness.
A lost soul in oblivion,
Searching for something,
In a state of nothingness,
For all that’s there is total loneliness.
